A quick 'apt-cache search circuit' reports: acs - Al's Circuit Simulator -- dummy package chipmunk-log - a circuit schematic capture tool and simulation environment. electric - electrical CAD system gnucap - GNU Circuit Analysis package. gpsim - Simulator for Microchip's PIC microcontrollers gtkwave - a VCD (Value Change Dump) file waveform viewer oregano - GNOME application for schematic capture of electrical circuits pcb - Printed Circuit Board Design Program gael - Gnome application for electrical circuits gerbv - Gerber file viewer for PCB design ksimus - KDE tool for simulating electrical circuits tkgate - Event driven digital circuit simulator with Tcl/Tk xcircuit - Draw circuit schematics or almost anything. circ-tex - LaTeX macros to typeset circuit & optics diagrams. as well as a number of others that aren't apparently involved with circuit boards. I don't know which are only in testing or unstable, but would any of those meet your needs? -- Mark L.
