The easiest thing to do is rather than play with the kdmrc file is to go into root and run the control centre. Then go to the user login manager there. Of course you then can't login as root and go to the user login manager (you can't work it as a normal user) :-( The other thing you can do, is allow the user to login as root but NOT have root in the potential list of logins on the display. Bear in mind that unless you do some editing of /etc/inittab you can always do an ALT_CTRL_F1 and login as root on a console so this is not much of a security wall anyway. - -- Alan Chandler [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE97IVSuFHxcV2FFoIRAgceAJ9eHS5tKuQnsMPC22iI2/+nBTaGewCgm2j9 yetGN7tOJVVh0kPW1C0B+dw= =+c6C -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
