While it may be important to a lot of people what distro Linus uses, I think what is more striking to a lot of people (especially within the US) is that NASA has used Debian twice now. Consider that (and maybe slip the words mars in there.. hehe.) and you get a lot of potential for vectoring^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hadvocacy.
