IMO, if you try dwww, you are gonna live without it anymore.

I've heard 'boa' is a ligth web server that can be sufficient for you. I have
also heard that lynx does not need a web-server to be the interface of dwww.

Even for just reading manpages, it is better since you can follow crossed
references inside the manpage.  You also get a more complete info on a topic
you are looking for. Just an example, if I search info on mount I get
