Good morning. Well, to followup to my request for assurance yesterday, I went back and wiped the file systems, installing from scratch all over again. Luckly, I'm still in the playing around stage, and didn't have anything that couldn't be downloaded again.
When I tried to shortcut the process by "Mount Previously Initialized Lunux Partition", it went all the way through the setup, but still would not load any modules. It then got stuck in an infinite loop trying to put in a password for the manditory "adduser", not accepting any password I gave it. All "fsck" commands completed with no errors found, after the first one, so that didn't solve anything. Now if only the lib5-dev and related files would load...
