i am not an expert but i can provide you pointers as i have tried and tried an tried before i got my mail working properly. first part of your solution is setting up your mail client. check out .muttrc file. here is mine: # User description ######################################################## set realname="Sandip P Deshmukh" set [EMAIL PROTECTED] you will have to do something similar in all .muttrc files of the respective users. but this will only make sure that mutt hands over the mail to exim with this information. the later part is making sure that exim or sendmail doesnt tweak this information or add or delete from it. in my view, the default exim set-up does just that. -- regards, sandip p deshmukh ------***-------- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
