I have prepared some packages that update some packages that are not or
only in an older version in Debian 3.0r0. Please read [1] for more
information (and read the FAQ before sending mails to me).
I try my best to avoid problems with both installing these packages on a
Debian 3.0 and upgrading with these packages installed to Debian 3.1.
The updated kernel packages contain a fix for a DoS attack that enables
every user to crash the computer [2]. If you run older kernels on a
computer where you don't fully trust all users it's highly recommended
that you upgrade your kernel.
It's a known problem that the pcmcia-modules-2.4.19-* pacakges are
currently not installable, this will be fixed in Alpha 3.
