Well, I see it too. I installed kernel 2.0.27 from Debian 1.2 and patched it to 2.0.28, 2.0.29 and 2.0.30. After the failed patch (see above) I compared 3c59x.c from my patched kernel sources to original 2.0.29 and 2.0.30 versions of 3c59x.c. I was very surprised that the patched version is about 10000 bytes longer than the files from the unpatched trees. Maybe there is already a patch applied in kernel-source-2.0.27 of Debian 1.2? As a solution you may want to use a file from a clean 2.0.30. Greetings, Ulf -- #include <signature>
