what's the the best init string to pass on to a 14.4 plug n' pray
USRobotics modem?
and i got this errors:

what does this mean? i have a 16550a uart chip. and the speed is 19200,
and i even lowered the mtu to 500 and it's still the same :(. What happens
is, i could connect fine, but say, after a few minutes, i got cut off.
And it's not the telephone line bacause this computer is a dual boot
debian and windoz95 computer. In windoz, it works fine.
any comments and suggestions?
