I fixed the problem by putting 'unset TERMCAP' in my CJ> ~/.bashrc (and maybe ~/.bash_profile). Ok, thats one point. I installed the slang packages from unstable (slang0.99.34 Version 0.99.38-1, slang0.99.34-dev Version 0.99.38-1) and 'unset TERMCAP' in my .bashrc (TERMCAP is set by xterm, why?). Now it is possible to start programms that uses SLang in an xterm, but they are still black an white. It is in color when I 'export TERM=xterm-color', but I don't like that. Its ugly (not the color, but the TERM setting). There is "*customization: -color" in my .Xressource File. Other Programs, e.g. xcolorsel use this ressource correct. It comes up in color (menues, ...) and if i unset the ressource, its black and white. Only xterm (maybe others) seems to ignore the "*customization" setting. There is a XTerm-color located in /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults. Any help out there. I want color in my xterms! ;-) -- Und gut is ... /\__, eMail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Holger / ==/___ PGP-Key: Mail mit Subject "send pgpkey" (____U_U_) IRC: Rusch Roces SYD (@)(@)(@)(@) Speed! *USE DEBIAN*
