I agree.. However, how about automatically installing the first round of
"stuff" without a full dselect.  I've run into dependency problems if I
select a lot of stuff that first time dselect automagically appears.  (I
don't if I only install the preselected things.)

Those that don't want an automatically installed package can always
uninstall it later.
