I noticed this too. Cron was not running. Note that this is on two
machines cleanly installed from Debian-1.2. I'm not sure if cron
died, or if it was never started. Anyways, I reran it by hand
"/etc/init.d/cron start" and my cron jobs are running for now - we'll
see if cron dies again.
