I have an Iomega Ditto 3200; uses QIC-3020 TR3 tapes, 1.6Gb uncompressed. My advice to you is to stear clear of this tape drive. ftape does not support (yet) the controller that comes with it, and the drive is pretty slow. Get scsi, DAT or something if you can afford it. I like taper for backups; not very powerful, but full screen, colorful, straightforward ... And reliable.
