[ stuff deleted ] Actually, what you want to install is the ncurses-term package. From the Packages file: Package: ncurses-term [...] description: Video terminal manipulation: additional terminal files This package contains all of the terminal definitions not found in the ncurses-base package. There are far too many to list here. The base ncurses package just contains a couple of basic entries which should be enough for most people. Since an amiga isn't exaclty a 'standard' linux terminal ( :) ) it's not included in the stripped down termcap file. Install ncurses-term and you'll be OK.
