I found it kinda tricky to get it going, but once you got it, it works great. I had some help from this list to get me thru the tough parts which was related to the database setup. Firstly, you'll need to add some "testing" or "unstable" sources to your sources.list file. I don't think its been moved to stable yet. Perhaps when sarge is released. After you have apache and php4 working great, try installing horde2 and when asked to configure it, configure without a database. Then install imp3 and goto http://yourserver.com/horde2/test.php and make sure all is good. (the database part should fail obviously) After this is working fine, try install postgresql or mysql-server I use postgresql only because I couldn't get mysql to work. Anyway, you'll need to manually configure the database. There are 5 tables that I needed to insert and I found these tables in the horde2 docs and the turba docs. Once the tables were inserted and the database was ready to go, I ran # dpkg-reconfigure horde2 and selected a database this time. I believe I called the database "horde" or "horde2", the admin user was called "postgres". I dpkg-reconfigured imp3 and turba as well just for fun. And away you go. hth, Cheers, Mike ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
