Hmm. Perhaps kernel-package should depend on bin86? You definitely need the bin86 package to build a kernel (it has as86 and ld86.) Package: bin86 Status: install ok installed Priority: standard Section: devel Maintainer: Joost Witteveen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Version: 0.3-1 Depends: libc5 Description: Assembler and loader for kernel compilation.
