The sarge release is my first experience with Debian. I downloaded
the install floppies, booted from floppy, and then FTP installed.

Doing that on two boxes, I've had no stability problems at all. But in
my case, I know my hardware and power source are solid. Many software
problems can be explained by marginal power and/or hardware.

Don't know if that's true for you, or not, but without scopes and
logic analyzers, creeping corruption is sometimes the best way to know
when you have hardware and/or power problems.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
