hello all i do not know if this is a security issue. but this is surprising.
there is a win9x application - e2fs that can explore linux partitions on dual boot machines. here is the homepage http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/ i have tried the program. basic procedure is boot the machine in windows and run e2fs. you can browse entire linux partition. who cares about file permissions! most importantly, is there a way to prevent this? -- regards, sandip p deshmukh ------***-------- Natural laws have no pity.
