Can anybody shed some light as to why this would be happening. I have
tried numerous things to get thsi to work but to no avail. I have tried
upgrading to apache2 and then back down to apache. I tried having the
deb package build a brand new httpd.conf file but still not working.
I've gotten so completely frustrated with this, so any help would be
appreciated.
Someone else posted a similar problem an hour before you did. I have
also had this problem in the last few days, but it was only a minor
irritation (I was only testing something) so I put it down to my
incompetence. Try flushing your browser cache utterly, or using another
browser temporarily to see if the problem occurs there too. Try using a
tool such as HEAD from libwww-perl or 'echo -en 'HEAD / HTTP/1.0\n\n' |
nc <host> 80' and see what Content-Type is sent. You may need to
fabricate an 'Accept:' header.
