Hi,
I run sarge and usually update my debian systems from www.mirror.ac.uk
because it gives the best speeds of all I've tried. However recently
I've been unable to grab certain updates - apt-get update works fine,
the package lists are downloaded fine. However when I run apt-get
dist-upgrade loads of packages tell me they couldn't be opened - eg:
Failed to fetch
ftp://www.mirror.ac.uk/sites/ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/u/uw-imap/uw-imapd_2002edebian1-11_powerpc.deb
Unable to fetch file, server said 'Failed to open file. '
When I manually browse the archive, the file geniunely doesn't exist -
the nearest one is uw-imapd_2002edebian1-9_powerpc.deb. So why is my
system looking for a file that doesn't exist, and how do I fix it?
Thanks!
