At least a few of them are available along with mplayer from the unofficial sources. Have a look on apt-get.org
I managed to get some of them installed with mplayer, but haven't had much success with the others (all I could find were versions that were a little too old.) But that doesn't matter for now. I'm going to abandon the idea of using Cinelerra for the time being, since the hardware requirements far exceed what I currently have anyway. Instead, I am experimenting with AVIDemux now, and am gradually figuring that one out. I do have a few minor problems with this one, but I'll post about them in a new thread.
