For gnome use nautilus with "sftp://[EMAIL PROTECTED]", as mentioned konqueror does the same thing for kde (fish://[EMAIL PROTECTED] it was the last time I checked). If you are using windows and want to access a linux box running ssh, use winscp, which has a nice gui and works in a similar way.
