Hello, all. I hope that you can help me.
While upgrading My Sarge machine this morning, I have got problems with a conflict during the process. apt-get complains that: /usr/lib/kde3/gsthumbnail.la already exists in kdebase-kio-plugins when trying to unpack kdegraphics-kfile-plugins As usual it recommended issuing "apt-get install -f" to resolve the issue. However this complained about the following packages: BEGIN: ------ Preparing to replace kdelibs-bin 4:3.2.3-2 (using .../kdelibs-bin_4%3a3.3.1-4_i386.deb) ... Unpacking replacement kdelibs-bin ... Has anybody any ideas how I might resolve this, please? I've even tried "apt-get remove kdesktop" but that has the same complaints. If there is some very simple fix (even if it is just removing all of KDE to re-install - please tell me how. Thanks in advance. TreeBoy -- Stop searching forever.
