Converting video from PAL to NTSC or vice versa. *shuuder* Made 4 nice coasters before I figured that one out and even then my wife and I now watch PAL sourced stuff on the desktop. In fact my next home project is putting together a minimal Linux box to sit next to the entertainment center in the living room and pull music/video off our file server so we can watch stuff on the TV. :D
