Ok, does anyone know why TBird opens up 4-5+ IMAP connections? I don't think it is standard as Evolution v2.x only opens 1 for the exact same account with the exact same settings.
Well, didn't take me long to figure it out. Got to thinking it might be in prefs.js. Sure enough...
user_pref("mail.server.server2.max_cached_connections", 5);Switched the 5 to a 2 and it only uses 2 connections.
