You can create a bootable CD which (assuming your image fits on a CD) you can use to install your image. If the image is larger, you can use it across the network. Run partimage daemon on one box, then boot up your unconfigured box(es) with, say, Knoppix; the run partimage and it'll pull in the image. Use it all the time here, imaging Windows boxes and Debian workstations.
