How are you trying to access the DVD? Are you starting xine and then clicking on the "DVD" button of the GUI, or are you specifying the DVD on the command line? If the latter, from what you've pasted in your message I suspect that you're missing the second "/" in the MRL. That is, the command should be xine dvd:// not xine dvd:/ -- Michael A.
