I do have this situation/problem. My ISP gives me SMTP AUTH to send messages. Configuring exim to use my mail id and password is getting the job done. But, that is fine on my home/single user machine. What if I want to use mutt to send mails with SMTP AUTH and I do not have the necessary previliges to set the MTA? Can I coax mutt to do that job? If so, how?
