same as 1000's of other linux distro .. not a big deal ( distinction )

whoppie ...

but better still, fedora is the worst distro in the lst few years
morphing from rh-9 -> fc-1 -> fc-2 -> fc-3 in the period of 1.5 years
or so ??

it's one of a few distro i would NOT recommend for anything that requires
24x7 hands off operations ( low TCO as most corps seem to want )

issues to go over before deciding which is better:
        - ez or hard to install your desired system
        - free or paid versions
        - pre-tested security updates
        - current versions supported by the GPL authors/teams
        - add additional apps as desired
        - harden as desired
        - mailing list support
        - paid or free tech support from independent 3rd parties
        - "proper/accurate" documentation, howtos
        - reliability
        - minor distro tweeks or heavy distro tweeks/modifications
        - [in]stability of "major versions"
        - upgrade path, backward compatibility path
        - ...
