applications will not print through kprint interface. Using acroread to print a pdf file goes through all the motions, the printer icon appears and then dissappears, nothing is printed.
Entering lpr mydoc.pdf will work just fine (without Acrobat Reader's page scaling options). This had occurred previously, got fixed with upgrades.
