Moments ago, I did: # apt-get update # apt-get -s -u -t testing upgrade There, I saw that, among the 42 packages to be upgraded since I last did "apt-get -u -t testing upgrade" on 01-Nov, XFree 4.2.1-3 has been migrated down to sarge.
Well, I'm scared, since I don't want to trash X Windows. Other than saving copies of /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 and /etc/X11/fs/config, are there any other preparations that I should make before taking the upgrade plunge? -- +------------------------------------------------------------+ | Ron Johnson, Jr. mailto:ron.l.johnson@;cox.net | | Jefferson, LA USA http://members.cox.net/ron.l.johnson | | | | "they love our milk and honey, but preach about another | | way of living" | | Merle Haggard, "The Fighting Side Of Me" | +------------------------------------------------------------+ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
