Looking at gdkmain-x11.c I see that request_code 45 is an error in X_OpenFont. Interestingly both apps you mention use gtk1.2 which led me to this: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=234994 Maybe not totally related but your problem obviously has something to do with fonts. -- Eric Gaumer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
