Do I just put the word "Sarge" on a line?
You should have uncommented lines similar to the following: deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian unstable main contrib non-free deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US unstable/non-US main \ contrib non-free Note that mine has "unstable," as I follow Sid. In your case I'm guessing that these lines say "stable." That being the case, change them to say "testing" (which is Sarge). It may be that the CD installation places only references to your CD's in the file (it's been a while for me--I don't recall). If so, then those should be commented out after putting the above into the file.
