I enabled MTRR, and along with that and the other things suggested, i managed to get >500 fps with glxgear, before it was around 200fps. This seems to have helped some stuff, thanks alot!

Try enabling MTRR. I don't know exactly where it is located in the options. Google tells me that enabling mtrr can make a big difference in graphics perfomance.
