Can anybody please tell me where to get debian driver for Intel 82865G. The intel site says its supported /tested on RedHat and suse. I am getting following errors when I run the install script
Debian1:~/dripkg# cat dri.log rm -f *.o *.ko dristat drmstat .depend .*.flags .*.d .*.cmd make -f Makefile.linux DRM_MODULES=gdg.o modules make[1]: Entering directory `/root/dripkg/drm' make -C /lib/modules/2.4.27-1-686/build SUBDIRS=`pwd` DRMSRCDIR=`pwd` modules make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.4.27-1-686' Makefile:268: arch/i386/Makefile: No such file or directory Makefile:551: Rules.make: No such file or directory make[2]: *** No rule to make target `Rules.make'. Stop. make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.4.27-1-686' make[1]: *** [modules] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/dripkg/drm' make: *** [gdg.o] Error 2
Please do let me know. As a sys admin, I generally use lot of tools utilities for remote admin etc. All my collegues use XP/2000. I just now started with Debian and I am proud.
Make me prouder please ;-)

Try the above, and if it doesn't help, report back to the list with details including: - the version of Debian you are installing - your video card > Who has a perfect X server configuration for me?? Depends on the above. Cheers, Nick. -- Debian 3.1 Linux twofish 2.6.8-looxt93c4 i686 GNU/Linux |
