If you're running Sarge or Sid you don't need the ATI binary drivers. In your XF86Config-4 choose the "ati" driver, check if your "radeon" kernel module is loaded before launching X (needed for the DRM/DRI stuff) and, after starting X if the command "glxinfo" shows the line "direct rendering: Yes" you're running 3D HW acceleration... -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
