one thing, is the linux kernel(at least until the very recent 2.5.xx
revisions) is limited to 2TB of storage. I am not certain if it is
2TB total or 2TB volumes(I think its 2TB volumes), but the system will
most likely not be able to take advantage of a 4-5TB volume if you have
such a thing. Now if you split it up it should work. I first read about

You also probably have to use the 2.4.x kernel due to its better handling
of large files and large(r) address space. Not sure if the libc in woody
handles files bigger then 4GB or not, I suspect it does, though I have
no woody/2.4 systems only 2.2 so I can't test.

the largest volumes I've ever had on any system was 220GB arrays on
debian..would be nice to play with stuff in the TB range though.
