Well, that wasn't really what I was looking for. I don't have a '.config' I want to use, I want the defaults! This is what I do: $ cd /usr/src $ tar -x -j -f linux-source.tar.bz2 $ cd linux-2.6.7 $ make menuconfig And it pulls in /boot/config-2.6.8-1-k7 as my oldconfig. Why is this happening? How do I prevent it from happening? /M -- Magnus Therning (OpenPGP: 0xAB4DFBA4) [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://magnus.therning.org/ Storing is like eating.
