Perhaps, you > would be willing to help off-list by running tests and sharing > results? I too am having this problem with a S3 Savage 4 card, running Sarge. I only noticed it after upgrading to Sarge. Since it only happened after the upgrade I haven't considered possibility #1 much. Working with html for a living, I haven't been able to find anything that would look like it would cause #3 (there are two websites that cause this - sometimes - for me; one being www.washtimes.com). I have always thought this was probably #5, but can't reproduce it often enough to file a bug report. It does, however, seem to happen the most often when I'm using Galeon (it probably doesn't help that I almost always have about 9 windows and 50+ webpages open, either). I would definitely be interested in working with someone to help track this down; it gets a little irritating at times, since this is on the computer I use for work all day long. Also, I'm using Ice for my window manager. I've seen some other quirks that make me wonder if it's not a weird interaction between Ice and Mozilla to cause this problem.
