I tried scanning one of my computers using nmap (which did show some things that needed fixing BTW). The thing I was wondering about was the error message:
sendto in send_tcp_raw: sendto(3, packet, 40, 0, <ip>, 16) => Operation not permitted I ran it as root for this purpose, under kernel 2.6.8-rc4-mm1.
