Use following package from Sarge (testing): msttcorefonts - Installer for Microsoft TrueType core fonts Woody one is not functional due to MS policy change. add testing contrib section to /etc/apt/sources.list apt-get update apt-get install msttcorefonts remove testing contrib section Or use apt preference mechanism etc. if you want to be an expert.
