1. It works on stuff run from a "terminal", but often not from KDE menu, even if "run in terminal".
2. As stated previously, non-root user cannot use it, even thought the DRI permissions are set 0666. I have run it from a root terminal of another user. 3. Logout, login will come up DRI-disabled. C/BSP will sometimes fix. Logout, restart X, logiin (or reboot) will usually come up DRI-enabled.
