What Alexander is trying to say is that one of the great features of the X Window System is that it can send all of its graphical commands over the network to *another* machine and draw the windows there, while doing the processing on the machine the program is installed on. (you'll probably only want to attempt this on the same LAN) There are various ways to do this depending on your setup, but probabaly the easiest is to use SSH. -- I usually have a GPG digital signature included as an attachment. See http://www.gnupg.org/ for info about these digital signatures. My key was last signed 10/14/2003. If you use GPG *please* see me about signing the key. ***** My computer can't give you viruses by email. *** -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
