Hi, On certain minidistro based on debian stable I have link /dev/tty0 pointing to /dev/vc/0 only but no /dev/tty1 through N and no /dev/vc/1 through M as well. So that respawning getty (inittab) generates tons of errors.
'mknod /dev/vc/N c 4 N' creates something, but there is still the same number of errors (error message differs) There is SCSI card (adaptec 2940) and disk in this PC, strange enough IDE based PC works well. Google found few cases of similar problems but gave no answer. Any ideas how to cure this?
