Hi! I'm running kernel 2.6.7.
With kernel 2.4 I could edit the /etc/modutils/rtc, end add this line to it: post-install rtc echo "1024" > /proc/sys/dev/rtc/max-user-freq But now with kernel 2.6, modprobe ignores that directory, and using /etc/modprobe.d/ instead. But I can not add that "post-install" line to /etc/modprobe.d/rtc because I get an error, that that post-install command doesn't exist. I need to run that script after I've installed that module, because before it, that file in /proc doesn't exists. Is there some alternative for the post-install? I've digged thru man modprobe.conf, but there is only an "install" command there. Anyone can help me? Thanks! Daniel -- LeVA
