I am running a VDR box that mounts, via AUTOFS an MP3 directory on another PC. At the moment that PC is running Win98, so I mount via SMBFS, this works.
Now I want to sometimes run the remote PC as a Win98 box, and sometimes as a Linux (Debian) box. So I am looking for the best way to mount via SMBFS when the remote is booted with Win98, but to mount via NFS when the remote is booted as Linux.
I tried two (almost identical) entries in the map dataset for autofs, but if the first one is not successfull, it doesnt even try the second entry.
I guess I am looking for the best strategy to do this, all I need is the MP3s to be mounted at the same place each time.
Cheers Brian
