Could you provide the error messages your getting and what your trying to do when you get that message? I see your point, if you have several vhosts then you might have several DocumentRoot as well. Copying squirrelmail to each DocumentRoot doesnt sound of a practical solutoin hehe... Why dont we look at the /etc/squirrelmail/apache.conf and maybe were getting the error message from there? that file creates the alias for /squirrelmail web subdirectory to /usr/share/squirrelmail and some directives for the /usr/share/squirrelmail.. maybe its a directive that prevents it from working normally?
