You could use any irc client (like irssi or x-chat) and use a proxy to
use with aim, icq and others. A good one is BitlBee for example, there
are a lot of public BitlBee servers (www.bitlbee.org)

Using IM services from an irc client is much better than using irc from
an im client - imo.
