Mixers under ALSA can be a real bear to figure out. I'm not familiar with yours, so I can't be directly helpful. With mine (SB Live!) I have to set the "Capture Source" to "Mic" and then activate and crank up the "AC97 Capture" slider to capture anything from my microphone. The only mixer I've found where I can actually accomplish this consistently is something called KAMix, which we don't even have for Debian. I've tried everything, and nothing else presents the controls I need in a way that lets me control all of them. It's really quite a horrible mess. -- Michael McIntyre ---- Silvan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Linux fanatic, and certified Geek; registered Linux user #243621 http://www.geocities.com/Paris/Rue/5407/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
