If it says "No packages found matching cdrecord.", do: apt-get update apt-get install cdrecord --------------------------------------- To sum up: uname -r lilo Search the archives. I'll bet you a million bucks the answer is already there waiting for you! dpkg -l cdrecord --------------------------------------- Other stuff you can try: lsmod | egrep 'sg|scsi|sr' run "modconf" as root.
